When Show Pony Events was approached by the Hyatt Hotel Canberra to come on board as a styling sponsor, our team was thrilled to partner with such an iconic establishment and excited by the opportunity to be a part of history. Our first objective as the styling partner was to conduct an on-site photo shoot. The brief was clear: to capture the essence and rich history of the hotel throughout its 100-year journey, while also promoting the upcoming centenary celebration on 25 October.
The Hyatt Hotel Canberra has become an iconic location, beloved by Canberrans and visitors from across Australia and around the world. Over the past century, it has had the honour of hosting key political figures and celebrities from around the globe.
The evening promises to be an unforgettable affair filled with champagne toasts, pop-up cocktail bars, entertainment, immersive activations, and gourmet delights. From the roaring 20s to the halcyon 50s, the opulent 80s, and every glamorous era since, let’s relive the glory days and toast to a bright future.
As the hotel transforms into a glamorous showcase reflecting the style of the Hyatt through the decades, guests will enjoy pop-up cocktail bars in the gardens, hidden speakeasies, and the ultimate in luxury with a 10-tier champagne tower presented by Couture Air. It’s an evening that promises not only to honour the past but to set the stage for the future.
