We’re thrilled to share a behind-the-scenes look at the Australian Hotels Association Awards ACT (AHA ACT), an event we were proud to sponsor again this year. Recognising the very best in the ACT Hotel Industry, the awards ceremony took place at the National Arboretum Canberra, an iconic venue that served as the perfect backdrop for this significant event.
A Twist on Tradition: A Cocktail Affair
In a departure from the traditional sit-down dinner, we decided to up the ante by styling a cocktail event. Our vision for the evening centred around a luxurious palette of black, gold, and silver, designed to impart a sense of sophistication and glamour. The atmosphere was electric, serving as a tribute to the industry’s best.
Setting the Mood: Night Club Vibes
As the awards came to an end, we transformed the space into a high-energy nightclub for the after-party. Our styling elements set the stage for guests to let their hair down and celebrate their accomplishments. The blend of lights, music, and decor created a lively setting that kept the energy high until late in the evening.
What we loved about this event
What made this event so special for us was the opportunity to step away from the conventional and create a vibrant cocktail setting, embracing a rich palette of black, gold, and silver. We aimed to create an atmosphere that was not only sophisticated but also reflective of the dynamic spirit of the ACT’s hotel industry. The transition into the after-party was a particular highlight, where the energy of the room really came to life. It was an incredible experience to see our styling come together and contribute to the success of the evening.
