Sarah & Tom finally had the opportunity to say “I Do” at the beautiful Somerley House in the Southern Highlands this summer. Their wedding was postponed over the past couple of years like so many other events so it has been a long time planning for this special day.
They chose this location as they wanted somewhere that was accessible for both their Canberra and Sydney family and friends to meet and celebrate their union.
Somerley House is a magnificent Victorian-style country retreat built in 1875. Sarah & Tom were married in the gardens and then guests meandered up to the estate lawns for pre-dinner drinks before heading into the beautifully appointed dining room for dinner.

Pre-dinner drinks featured our boho chic Marrakesh lounge range with soft pastel throws and cushions, paired with our Hamptons cross-back stools and bird cage cocktail tables.

The after-party was a lot of fun to create. To maximise the space the team built our sky rooms to extend the entertainment and seating area out from the barn, filling it to the brim with fairy lights. Guests were able to move out and dance under the stars which was a fabulous way to finish the reception.
